Changes Ahead
** UPDATE: As we continue to work diligently towards technology advancements and an overall improved customer experience, we’d like to bring you an update.
As many of you already know, we are currently in the process of switching our entire restaurant over to an all new Point of Sale System. Our team has been reprogramming our whole menu from scratch for this new system to ensure smooth customer interactions when it comes to the ordering process. With such an extensive menu on our hands, this has been no small feat. As such, we have decided to push back our launch date by about a month.
We want to ensure that not only that the new system programmed (almost) perfectly but also that our staff is well versed in it’s operation. Again, to provide the seamless and improved customer experience we’ve been promising. Your patience as we work to get things “just right” is greatly appreciated! **
Huge updates are ahead here at Ron’s Original and we can’t wait for you to see the improved customer experience they will bring!
As many of you know, not too long ago our Point-of-Sale company experienced a huge ransomware incident that took down much of our system for an extended period of time and negatively impacted the customer experience. It was during that time we decided that it was time to move on to bigger and better things.
Thus, we bring you great news!
Over the course of the next month, we will be transitioning to an ALL NEW point-of-sale system.
So, what does this mean for our customers?
- An all new seamless customer experience
- A brand-new loyalty program (new sign-up required)
- The introduction of online ordering
- And so much more…
A New Loyalty Program?
Yes, a new loyalty program. With this new system comes a new way of showing our customers we care! The new cardless system will include sign-up bonuses, birthday rewards and more. We can’t wait for you to see what we have in store. That said, this change will be a fresh start. All of our customers will be starting anew with this new loyalty program and will be require to “sign-up” once again. As such, we recommend using any and all of your currently queued rewards prior to the transition as they will not carry over to the new system.
Finally, Online Ordering?!?!
You read that right! Along with our new system comes the one thing everyone has been waiting for….online ordering! The release of the online ordering platform will be a few months delayed to allow our staff time to adjust to the new system but, we promise, it will certainly be worth
the wait!
Dates and Deadlines

The last day to redeem any and all ROCK Rewards.
Monday, September 25th, 2023
Ron’s will be CLOSED for the new system installation and staff training.
Tuesday, September 26th, 2023
We will reopen as usual live with our new system. You can now sign up for our new Loyalty Program.
